Building Better Lives Walking Group

Salaam!

Building Better Lives Walking Group of Firvale Community Hub is every Monday starting at 10.45 a.m.

We meet across from Taste of Arabia in Firth Park, where we enjoy a walk in the beautiful, safe surroundings of the park before heading back to Taste of Arabia for soup and naan. Come and join us for a pleasant walk and friendly conversation! Doctors and the NHS recommend exercise and group activities for health and well-being.

Please dress appropriately for the weather.

MESSAGE FROM SHEFFIELD ROMA NETWORK

Please be considerate to your neighbours when socialising or playing outside of properties including ball games, singing, shouting, the playing of musical instruments or Bluetooth speakers. Many residents want to relax at night with their windows open or have children who need to be in bed at a reasonable time. Loud activities at unreasonable times can severely effect people’s enjoyment of their homes. We strongly recommend that activities that cause noise should stop in the evenings to prevent disturbance.

Antisocial behaviour can include:

  • noise.
  • shouting, swearing and fighting.
  • intimidation of neighbours and others through threats or actual violence.
  • harassment, including racial harassment or sectarian aggression
  • verbal abuse.
