ESOL

Firvale Community Hub offers a range of non-accredited and accredited ESOL courses for adults age 19+.

ESOL Courses include:

Pre-Entry – non-accredited
Entry Levels 1,2 and 3 – accredited by English speaking Board. (ESB)
English conversation classes
English at Home – one to one sessions delivered in your home by our Volunteer ESOL Tutors
Nothern College ESOL sessions and state exam board

We also offer opportunities for people who would like to train to become Volunteer ESOL Tutors. Training is delivered by SAVTE.

Employability Support

Pathways to success is our programme aiming to help Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic community into work.
Appointments with the National Careers Service for support with CV writing and job searching.
We provide information and guidance to plan your learning and pathways to employment including apprenticeships, further education, work experience and volunteering.
Our Youth Hub provides two Community Progression Mentors helping individuals between the ages of 16-24 years old into work.
